Does paper transmit Covid-19?

Paper continues to be an extremely safe medium to use. Evidence is available from many sources including the Royal Mail  “Is it safe to handle mail? Yes. Public Health England (PHE), the key health authority has advised that people handling letters and parcels are not at risk of contracting the coronavirus”. The World Health Organisation (WHO) has also advised that coronaviruses do not survive long on objects, such as letters or packages.

Further confirmation is in a recent article in the Edinburgh News. You can also see the public browsing/touching/putting back items in supermarkets, we are all getting mail and deliveries wrapped in paper and cardboard and doortodoor has started back up.

The government has also used it to deliver information and even pharmacies are handing out paper prescriptions to people. Contact us now
