About the role

We are looking for a van based distributor / merchandiser to join DD. You will be an important part of our team helping to create exposure for our clients marketing message using leaflets, brochures and posters. The work will be both indoors and outdoors, mainly within the central belt of Scotland.

As one of our front-facing team members interacting with the public, a social person is a must.

Based from our Glasgow warehouse you will be working between 08.00 hrs to 17.00 hrs Monday - Friday.

Summary

• Be an experienced driver with a minimum of 3 year's driving experience and a minimum of 1 year’s van driving an advantage.

• Have excellent time keeping

• Polite, professional manner with a clean, tidy appearance

• Can do attitude and enjoy multi-tasking

• Good communication skills and the ability to communicate face to face with customers and the public.

• Be a team player but is able to work on their own initiative

• Able to perform daily vehicle checks

• Understand the role involves manual lifting, walking and carrying along with driving.

• Forklift licence is an advantage but not necessary.
